Motivational Interviewing

 

The Inspirit Training Team have been teaching NVQ 3 trainees Motivational Interviewing (MI) for several years. In that time we have developed a unique way of teaching MI: Process MI. It allows people to quickly and easily learn the skills of MI by minimising the distracting effects of the client’s content during the learning process. By concentrating on processes, trainees discover that they are much better able to facilitate the client getting to the core of their issues.

 

We are now offering this unique training as continuous professional development to existing workers in the field. It runs over three consecutive Fridays and is certificated by Inspirit Training & Development Ltd. We will be putting on regular MI training at our venue in Bethnal Green (E2) and can also train groups of staff at their own places of work.
