Group Facilitation Skills
A 15 session training course designed to improve confidence and ability in facilitating groups in the drug or alcohol sector. The course is for anyone who enjoys groups and wants to improve their group skills. It is also an ideal development for those trained in ITEP or BTEI and is run in accordance with the NTA Treatment Improvement Protocol for group facilitation

- Support group process and development
- Manage group safety
- Offer equality
- Apply external theory
- Facilitate insight creatively
- Accurately evaluate your own strengths and development needs
Through the course you can gain a certificate in group facilitation, work towards accreditation as a group facilitator and add a groupwork unit to your existing NVQ.
